Animals are very intelligent, caring and loving. They are not any less important than us humans. If animals were not meant to be on this planet they would not exist. They do play a major role in our lives as the rest of the nature. If you do not agree than stop breathing as air is not yours and does not belong to you but the nature, yet you are using it because you would not be able survive. Accept all animals and appreciate them and care for them because you need them LIKE you need air FOR EACH BREATH that you take.
